What’s New with VOXEL Rewards?

With the Voxie Tactics Unity release on April 29th, AlwaysGeeky Games is launching more VOXEL rewards!

Introducing Rank Rewards and Voxie Bounties

Rank Rewards

New Rank Rewards are based on the performance ranking of a player's game account. The better you play, the higher you are ranked. The higher you are ranked, the more VOXEL rewards are available to you!

There are 6 ranking tiers in total, ranging from Trainee Rank (6) all the way up to Tactician Rank (1). Each player starts their Voxie Tactics adventure at Competitor Rank (4) and the first five matches played will determine a current ranking. Rank rewards will start right away and your ranking can move up or down depending on performance. These new Rank Rewards also consider team compositions (i.e. Voxies rarity), plus any other bonuses associated with the game account (i.e. Pets and/or Equipment bonuses).

To see how this works, have a look at the 2 charts with examples below (VOXEL rewards are examples only, actuals may vary):

Example I → Draft Arena

• 5 VOXEL prize

• Start Competitor Rank (4) with a 1x Reward Multiplier

• Reward = (5 VOXEL) x 1 = 5 VOXEL

• Achieve Master Rank (2) get a 3x Reward Multiplier

• Reward = (5 VOXEL) x 3 = 15 VOXEL

Example II → Extreme Arena

• 5 VOXEL prize

• Start Competitor Rank (4) with a 10x Reward Multiplier

• Reward = (5 VOXEL) x 10 = 50 VOXEL

• Achieve Master Rank (2) get a 15x Reward Multiplier

• Reward = (5 VOXEL) x 15 = 75 VOXEL

Voxie Bounties

Voxie Bounties are rewards based on the Voxies protected or defeated during a PvP Battle! These new Bounties are calculated in combination with the Ranking of the game accounts of each opposing player as introduced above.

With Voxie Bounties, players can now be rewarded more VOXEL based on their performance in the match! This new Bounty creates a fun game within a game. Not only can players earn rewards by winning a match, now player ranking matchups, team composition and Voxies protected or defeated during each battle have the potential to add even more VOXEL rewards!

As mentioned earlier, there are 6 player ranking tiers. To calculate Voxie Bounties, we need to take the ranking tier difference between the 2 opposing players in any given match to assign a Bounty percentage. In this percentage calculation, the higher the rank difference between players, the bigger the bounty percentage available.

To see how this works, have a look at the chart with 3 examples below (VOXEL rewards are examples only, actuals may vary):

Example I → Match loser defeats 1 Voxie during battle with the Match winner

• Match winner is ranked Tactician (1) and the Match loser is ranked Competitor (4) for a difference of +3

• The Voxie Bounty for a +3 rank difference is 40% (see chart above)

• Match winner has a VOXEL prize of 10 VOXEL and the Match loser has a VOXEL prize of 5 VOXEL

Calculation Match loser

• Lost the match → 0 VOXEL

• Voxies Bounty → (1 / 3 Voxies) x (5 VOXEL) x (40% Voxie Bounty) = 0.67 VOXEL

• Total Rewards → 0 VOXEL + 0.67 VOXEL = 0.67 VOXEL

Calculation Match winner

• Won the match → 10 VOXEL

• Voxies Bounty → -(1 / 3 Voxies) x (10 VOXEL) x (40% Voxie Bounty) = -1.34 VOXEL

• Total Rewards → 10 VOXEL - 1.34 VOXEL = 8.66 VOXEL

Example II → Match winner protects all Voxies during the battle from the Match loser

• Match winner is ranked Tactician (1) and the Match loser is ranked Competitor (4) for a difference of +3

• The Voxie Bounty for a +3 rank difference is 40%

• Match winner has a VOXEL prize of 10 VOXEL and the Match loser has a VOXEL prize of 5 VOXEL

Calculation Match winner

• Won the match → 10 VOXEL

• Voxies Bounty → (0 / 3 Voxies) x (10 VOXEL) x (40% Voxies Bounty) = 0 VOXEL

• Total Rewards → 10 VOXEL - 0 VOXEL = 10 VOXEL

Calculation Match loser

• Lost the match → 0 VOXEL

• Voxies Bounty → (0 / 3 Voxies) x (5 VOXEL) x (40% Voxies Bounty) = 0 VOXEL

• Total Rewards → 0 VOXEL + 0 VOXEL = 0 VOXEL

Example III → Match loser defeats 2 Voxies during battle with the Match winner

• Both players are ranked Competitor (4) for a difference of 0

• The Voxie Bounty for a 0 rank difference is 25% (see chart above)

• Match winner has a VOXEL prize of 5 VOXEL and the Match loser has a VOXEL prize of 10 VOXEL

Calculation Match loser

• Lost the match → 0 VOXEL

• Voxies Bounty → (2 / 3 Voxies) x (10 VOXEL) x (25% Voxie Bounty) = 1.67 VOXEL

• Total Rewards → 0 VOXEL + 1.67 VOXEL = 1.67 VOXEL

Calculation Match winner

• Won the match → 5 VOXEL

• Voxies Bounty → -(2 / 3 Voxies) x (5 VOXEL) x (25% Voxie Bounty) = -0.83 VOXEL

• Total Rewards → 5 VOXEL - 0.83 VOXEL = 4.17 VOXEL

In Closing

New VOXEL rewards are coming with the Voxie Tactics Unity game release on April 29th. This change will represent a significant leap forward in game performance and player rewards. Adding more value for skill, strategy and engagement! Introducing better combinations of ranking mechanics and in-match performance. Making every battle fought and each strategy crafted a move towards earning more VOXEL.

With more VOXEL rewards comes more competition! Voxie Bounties will reward players who never quit! Rank Rewards will multiply for players who maximize their account to its fullest potential!
